Who would have thought that consumers will be receiving such protection from the law this soon after all the consumer rights violation cases we have been hearing in our courts in the recent times? The government has really moved in very first in order protect consumers. I hear in a day in one court room we have been having more that ten similar cases, all pertaining to rights violation during purchase of goods and services. Our consumer rights advocates have all been working very hard in order to deal with such cases, but since there was no law protecting consumers then, so many traders have walked away free of any guilt while in the real sense they have violated consumer rights. The consumer regulations are now here and no one will escape judgement from this day forward. Traders need to be very careful because the law is governing each and every purchase that a consumer makes and in case of any violation of consumer rights or any form of malpractice, the law will take effect and they stand to lose so much.
