Solar Screens

Solar screens consist of resistant, vinyl-coated fiberglass yarn woven in an open arrangement to block almost 70% of the sun? heat coming from windows. Unlike other window treatments, it absorbs and dissolves the sun? heat even before it strikes the window. It reduces the amount of sunlight reaching the window and works whether the windows are open or closed. During winter, it decreases wind chill across the window? surface thereby providing heat. It can be cordless lift or motorized lift. Cordless lifts are best for homes which has children for it has no dangling cords and provides a cleaner look. On the other hand, motorized lifts are preferable for high or hard to reach windows.

It may cost from $105 up to $500 per window but depends on it durability and design. Installing it may not provide a clear view outside your home. At daylight, it will be hard for people outside to look at the interior of your home. At night, people outside may view the interior of your house only if the lights are on, but they will most likely have a cloudy view. Also, before completely installing it you will have to wait for more or less 10 days and an additional 2-3 or more hours for setting it up at your home.
