My brother is getting a divorce from his wife after three years of disagreements in their home. He says that if he could have his way, he would stay married in order to always be close to his children. His wife on the other hand cannot wait to get him out of their lives, but she will not succeed because according to my brother's parent rights to his children, he will always be a part of their lives even after the divorce. He will be granted their visitation rights in the event the wife gets the custody rights and these rights will ensure that they are always seeing each other. It’s good that parental rights are being protected in this country because fathers will be losing a lot in case of separation or divorces, or even in case they have fathered out of marriage. Violation of a parent's rights today is being treated as a criminal offense and a person can really be punished. If it’s a mother who is violating the parental rights of the father, or the vice versa, then they can even lose their parental rights for good to the other partner.
