Consumers always fall victims of the worst king of pranks from con men and very unprofessional and unethical business men and women and service providers alike, thus they end up losing a lot of money that if you count it may result to thousands or even millions over time. Because of this, there are institutions which in turn are created to be able to protect them from such unsuspecting occurrences. For lack of a better term this organizations are called consumer watchdogs. These watch dogs are out to educate the consumer on what they should know about their rights as a consumer. For example, a common thing that usually happens to consumers everywhere. They might go purchase something that may end up being faulty if it is an electronic device or if it is a dress, it might end up being small or the wrong shade of color or a faulty stitching pattern that you do not like. Whatever the problem is you can get your money back or an exchange of something that is better. And if you do not have the receipt then you can use your financial statement to proof that you purchased it.
