Linked in is a great website for professionals to get together and stay connected it's also very beneficial for new university graduates. It is simple to get your membership established and begin interacting with other members. If you want to find a design agency, web developer, artist, salesperson - whatever - it's as easy as typing in a few keywords. Many people get discovered from making connections on LinkedIn and being able to show your resume makes a huge difference. Also I like the fact that adults can get together and the younger generation is not present to be disruptive. It's a professional platform and I'm always impressed at the calibre of fellow members - there's certainly a high trust factor when someone introduces themselves to me on LinkedIn and they have a good resume with good recommendations too - in fact, I've never hired anyone on LinkedIn who has let me down.
